Test water quality in ppm NH4. Determining NH4 levels in soil or compost requires extraction/filtration. (Extract solution & filters sold separately). Range 0-3.00 ppm NH4 in increments of 0.01 ppm. Accuracy ±4% of full scale. Auto shut-off. (Reagents sold separately).
Ammonia Colorimeter
Lab grade accuracy and fast response
Auto shut-off after 10 minutes of non-use
300 tests with only one battery
Self-diagnostic and error messages
Ammonia is often an excellent indication of the presence of animal or plant microbiological decay. It is tested in fish farms both in fresh as well as salt water tanks due to the damaging effects of its toxic nature. Its presence in rivers and reservoirs normally points to agriculture and/or civil pollutants. Ammonia is tested among others in lakes, rivers, potable water, boiler feed water, sewage, industrial and waste water.
